"AMERICANOS" project is a photo book, an exhibition, a music CD and an HBO documentary by Edward James Olmos, Dr. Lea Ybarra and Manny Monterey.  

Opening at the Smithsonian Institute's National Museum of American History on April 7, 1999 and continuing, it will be traveling for the next five years around the world.

Here are some of the images that are available for licencing and reproduction through Latin Focus.  These images were part of the same shoot that the photographers produced during the shooting of the Americanos project but are images that were not selected for the project.
